Chief Google Cloud Engineer Description

We are seeking a Chief Google Cloud Engineer to join our team.

In this position, you will prioritize Cloud Assist testing and refine user experiences through detailed evaluations. You'll collaborate with functional testers and work autonomously to uncover bugs and derive valuable insights related to Google Cloud Assist.

Responsibilities

• Process user feedback directly
• Perform human evaluations of language model responses
• Review current customer use journeys
• Generate prompts for AI and language model testing
• Assess responses based on Google Cloud customer use journeys
• Document and report newly identified valuable bugs
• Define and implement test scenarios in collaboration with internal teams
• Update and oversee test documentation
• Pinpoint issues while working alongside functional testers

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform
• 2+ years in leadership roles
• Basic understanding of Functional Testing or willingness to acquire it
• Proficiency in prompt engineering
• Background in testing fundamentals
• Competency in independent and team-based work
• Strong analytical skills
• English proficiency at an intermediate level

Nice to have

• Certification in Google Cloud Platform
• Background in automated testing frameworks
• Familiarity with API testing tools
• Understanding of the software development life cycle
• Knowledge of user experience principles
