Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction sites, fostering a culture of safety among all team members, and adhering to all local, state, and federal safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites to identify and address potential hazards.

  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.

  • Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees, subcontractors, and other site personnel.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, local safety codes, and company policies.

  • Maintain safety records and documentation, including permits, inspection reports, and training logs.

  • Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and contractors to promote a safe working environment.

  • Serve as a resource for safety-related questions and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

  • 2+ years of experience in construction safety role 

  • OSHA 10 required

Compensation: Base salary: $60,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
