Are you an experienced Java developer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact project? We're seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a fast-paced software development team. This role is fully remote and offers the chance to work on a critical application upgrade, ensuring security and efficiency for end users.
What You'll Do:
Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including finalizing functional specifications, implementing scalable designs, and providing deployment support.
Design, develop, debug, and perform unit/integration testing for programs using Java 6 or higher (SE/EE).
Ensure all written code is cross-browser compliant.
Stay up to date with emerging web programming technologies and undergo training as needed.
Assess and manage project risks, providing solutions in collaboration with the project team.
Mentor junior developers and conduct peer code reviews.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience with Java (6 or higher) and web-related technologies.
Strong expertise in Struts framework and experience in Struts 1 to Struts 2 migration.
Experience with SpringBatch framework (1+ year preferred).
Proficiency in HTML, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, WebSphere, or other Java EE servers.
Working knowledge of DB2 UDB or other relational/hierarchical databases.
Experience with jQuery, Ajax, CSS, Angular, Struts, or Spring Frameworks.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to mentor junior developers.
Healthcare IT experience is a plus.

Compensation: $57.25 - $73 per hour (Estimated pay)
